A pair of signed items by NCAA Wrestling Champion Larry Owings, from the University of Washington. In 1970, Owings defeated Iowa State's Dan Gable in the 142 pound NCAA finals. This match was Gable's last as a collegiate wrestler at Iowa State, and is considered the greatest upset in the history of American Collegiate Wrestling, as Gable was undefeated, up until that time, thru high school and college. The first item is a 5 1/2"x7" card and the second is an item the same size as a regular ball card. Both were signed by Owings this past April, at the Ohio Tournament of Champions, in Columbus, OH. Both items also feature Owings having his hand raised in the famous match.
